BRYAN FLEISCHMAN, PA-C, EM-CAQ, MBA, NRP

Bryan Fleischman is a Physician Associate (PA) who completed a residency in emergency medicine in July 2025 and brings over nine years of experience in 911 and critical care transport as a firefighter-paramedic, including service in New York City—the busiest EMS system in the world—during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. He also spent more than four years in outpatient and mobile anesthesiology, developing advanced airway management expertise, particularly in pediatric patients. Bryan serves as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the Emory University School of Medicine, an ALS preceptor for EMT and paramedic students, and a clinical preceptor for the Emory Farmworker Project in rural South Georgia.

With a strong interest in rural and austere medicine, Bryan recently started a position at a Critical Access Hospital (CAH) near Mount Washington in rural New Hampshire, where he tackles a broad range of urgent and complex medical cases in a challenging environment.

A Long Island native, Bryan first joined Wild Med Adventures in 2018 for an Adirondacks expedition and returned as an instructor after the transformative and fun experience. During his residency, he completed a month-long wilderness medicine elective spanning Iowa, Missouri, and Colorado, where he combined cross-country skiing, scuba diving, rock climbing, rappelling, and snowshoeing—activities which coincided well with the principles of Advanced Wilderness Life Support (AWLS). An educator since 2016, Bryan has taught EMTs and paramedics in classroom and lab settings and enjoys snowboarding, hiking, and any activities on the water.
