Adrianne Wurzl, DO
Dr. Adrianne Wurzl started off her journey with Wild Med Adventures during her fellowship in Wilderness Medicine through Baystate Medical Center. During her fellowship year, she helped instruct with Wild Med while climbing Mt Kilimanjaro and also trekked to Everest Base Camp! Since then, she’s loved being a part of the WildMed family! On the side, she’s an ER physician at Baystate, where she also works as a faculty member for wilderness medicine and wellness divisions. She lives with her partner and fellow ER physician, cat, and two kiddos. Her other wilderness adventures have included a 200 mile backpacking journey through remote sections of the Grand Canyon, near completion of the Appalachian Trail, various treks and summits around the world, but especially New England, and pursuit of the DiMM. She’s mostly into high altitude, low oxygen, mountaineering expeditions but can also be found on multi day lower elevation treks, as well as on the waterways of various lakes and rivers or skiing on whatever snow (or ice) can be found. Adrianne is excited to meet new people and is looking forward to meeting all of you on a future adventure trip!
